AIR Update #8: The Future

Greeting and salutations! In an unexpected turn of events, I am feeling much better than I have been these last few weeks. I took some time off from the archives to focus on my creative projects as a part of this residency and was able to both finish the pulsing animation + sound (see above!) as well as produce an entirely new project.

In collaboration with the Luscinia Historical Society, I am creating a series of zines published through my small press, Impossible Press. Pre-orders for Issue 1 of ESOTERIC TRANSMISSIONS are available now, and we will share free PDF versions once 20 pre-orders are sold. Proceeds will, naturally, go back into the society and help us with our big exciting announcement;

Our space will be open for visits in October of this year!

We are still working on the space, ironing out logistics, and all that fun stuff, but starting sometime in mid to late October, the Luscinia Historical Society will be open for appointment-only visits with me as your guide through the collection. I can’t say much more for now, but just as a small sneak peak I can say recent donations of archival materials has made this a fascinating opportunity for us.

As a result, I will be taking a break from these regular updates as we prepare the space for visitors. I’ll be coming back to the blog and YouTube channel in September, then going through our new donations in October.

On behalf of the Luscinia Historical Society, we are so excited to welcome you to our space soon.
