Excuse the Dust!

Hello there, and thank you for your patience while we have faced some unexpected delays in our plans to open to the public.

In August of 2024, the Luscinia Historical Society received a massive anonymous donation of objects and ephemera ranging from paintings, ceramic vessels, photographs, diaries, letters, and so much more. This unprecedented donation more than tripled our previous collection size, resulting in a massive shift in operational priorities. Our Archivist-in-Residence has been working around their already busy schedule to catalogue and document these objects, and as a result our original plans to open to the public have been severely delayed.

We appreciate your understanding while we continue to work on understanding these additions to our collection. In the meantime, we are working tirelessly to ensure Archivist Updates return soon. This is an exciting time in LHS history, and we are incredibly excited that you have chosen to join us.
